About this blog:
The challenge to be genuine is one I accepted. Accepting the challenge meant taking on the task of removing filters of what I thought I should be and begin appreciating who I am.
As of May 2012 I got the honor of the title mother. While the moments I have to write seem sporadic that is by choice. I love my little family and actively choose them. When I get a little moment I seize the opportunity to write, share and reflect on thoughts and experiences.
No matter where I visit in the world my heart still craves and delights in coming home to Seattle. Living outside of Seattle allows my little family to tend to a small hobby farm.
Since 2002 I have been exploring life with my highschool sweetheart and best friend. Eli. We married in 2007 and welcomed our daughter into the world in 2012. We both enjoy our days working for technology companies in Seattle and our evenings spent outside of Maple Valley surrounded by cathedral of evergreens.
